I know how to actually assemble it. Just looking for someone to find me the best parts right now. Bigger fan of NVIDIA than ATI. Bigger fan of AMD than Intel. Price range of $500 to $750....

the reason no one posted is details and budget. Firstm waht are you using this for? second, 500-750 will get u nothing in terms of "best parts". For example, I believe a 7800 gtx 512 mb is around 750.

what kind of case u want(atx tower micro atx 2,3,4 cdrom bays)
cpu(speed,socket,fsb,)
are u gonna overclock it or no?
play alot of games?
rip cds?
whats the main purpose of ur computer(games multimedia, graphics, documents,internet)
do u want a cdrw or dvdrw one or 2 separate cd drives?
how much harddrive space u will need?
how much ram u need?
card reader, floppy drive extra case fan? led lights and all that blinkin stuff?
side window?
monitor,keyboard,mouse?
speakers?
any extra pci cards like wireless card?
i basically broke down my own process of picking a computer cuz im building one at this moment
