Which graphics card is better:

HIS Excalibur ATI Radeon X800 XL ICEQII 256MB (AGP)

or

any of these http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/6800_Series.html

I was just wondering because im getting my faulty graphics card replaced... and i get to choose .

Yeah, but my 6800GT is faulty (thats the whole point of the post, read what i said at the end of my first post ). And besides, my 6800GT only had 8 pixel-pipelines and 128mb etc. Whereas this X800 XL has 256mb and 16 pixel-pipelines... so somehow im not so sure .

I think the X800XL is better. But don't hold me to that statement. Both are good cards though.

Ive gone for the X800XL because of the pipelines and the IceQII cooling that it has.

Ouch... wish I'da replied sooner. I would have purchased the 6800GS any day of the week. Those x800's were a total letdown. I think Bedubbya... or was it Trotter..? They had a complete problem with those hunks o' junk. 6800GS has been nothing but smooth sailing for everyone.
