Default Whats Faster...

Would it be better buying:
Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 2.93GHz Socket 775 1066FSB 3MB L2 Cache Retail Boxed Processor
Intel Core 2 Quad Q8300 2.5GHz Socket 775 1333FSB 4MB L2 Cache Retail Boxed Processor

Confused about weather the 2.93Ghz or the 1333FSB or dual/Quad makes them faster.

Default Re: Whats Faster...

Depends in what context you're speaking.

Gaming, the faster dual core will be better (since most games don't utilize quad cores..)
General Multi-tasking, the Quad core is better.

And just overall i would pick the quad core.
