Sweet.. AGP, answers my question.

Does any one know how to Find out wether of not the PCI slots on your mother board are PCI, or PCI-E slots???

You just have to know your mother board model number and google it or something??

PCIE slots are longer and differently configured compared to PCI.

It is a noticeable difference.

You look at them. All pci slots look the same. All pci-e slots look the same.

Yea but my Demension has 3 pci Slots, if I don't know what a PCI, or PCI-e slot looks like I don't know if I would know the Difference, I guess I was wondering more on a software point of view, I don't think I should have to actually look at the mother board, I should be able to find out somewhere else. i.e. Mother board specs.

Thanks again.

If all the slots are exactly the Same, they are probably PCI, as there is no Dell board I know of with three PCIE..
