Default What will i benefit more from?

I currently have a maxtor 120g ata 133 drive and was thinking of upgrading to the WD SE16 250g sata

but since my mobo only supports sata and not sata 2, would my system benefit more from upgrading my ram from 1 gig to 2 gigs? rather then upgrading my hd. as for space iam more then fine for now.

which upgrade would benefit more for load times? as well as running mroe then 2 applications.

For load times, neither of them would do much. You'd have to buy a 10,000 rpm drive to improve load times. 2gb of ram won't help unless you're playing new games on mostly high settings and/or running a bunch of programs at the same time.

if you want sata2 then just get a pci sata2 add-in card
