yeah, if youre gonna game or torrent alot, 2 GB is for you. And make sure that it has good latency and timings, id say go for Latency 2. To save money, you can buy 2.5, and ur BIOS should have an option to pull the latency down manually, although that may hamper ur OC-ability.

2GB is becomming preferred for gaming, but 1GB will still do alright. You just need to be sure to maintain your system and not let unnecissary resource hogs (i.e. QuickTime, Norton Antivirus) start with your system.

you dont always have to go with 1GB or 2GB there always 1.5GB
