What is an SLI video card? My friend doesnt understand it and he says it is stupid I don't know what it is. Could some tell me what it is and what it does?

Scalabe link interface. It is the conenction between two GPU's (the bridge.) It is a waste of money for the average person, as there are other places where that money can be spent for better performance.

sli is for hardcore gamers, it allows you t use two Nvidia graphics cards on a sli compatible mobo, right now your better off even with a compatible board to save your money, fps gains are minimal since games are not coded to take advantage of this yet.
