Default What should be my next computer upgrade?

Hey everyone, Ive heard this is a good forum and decided to check it out.

My specs:
pentium4 socket478 3.0
1GB DDR400 ram
nVidia GeForce FX5200
ASRock P4V88 Motherboard
350watt Power Supply

Also, could you link me to a place where i can get a good price?

Upgrade Power supply unit to maybe 450 WATT and a graphics card to ATI X850 or Geforce 7800GT if you have enough money. FX5200 is pretty old.

www.newegg.com has great prices.

...which would require a BRAND NEW mobo, and probably proc...

na, u could probaly get a 7800gt but get a bridge connector to make it pci-e to agp. but if not that, then yes, he would need a new mobo, and processor, because pci-e mobos dont support 478 processors

Thanks guys, its been a help. (I know im sounding like a n00b here, but i just need some external advice. ) Where would i find a bridge connector?

Well i use this PC for my homework, downloading music, and playing a few of the latest games out. Currently ive been playing Doom 3, and im waiting for the new Fable game and some other games.

(Sorry for double post, btw)

Ok the bridge chip will not work in your situation.

For upgrades I would go with a new power supply and new graphics card...
