What should I upgrade to?

Hello everyone,
I haven't updated anything on my computer in quite a while. I have an AMD Athlon processor 1.15 Ghz and 256MB of RAM.
What are todays standards for PCs? I basically use my computer for audio recording, word processing, and occasionally online games like Diablo II (though I'm not a serious gamer). Any suggestions on what kind of processor and RAM that I should get?

You'd be ok building a basic socket 939 AMD system for a couple hundred bucks if you're interested in building if not you could just get a pre-built HP or something that would do you fine.
