My brother has a Dell Dimension 2100, and the motherboard is pathetic. I've seen computers older then his (this was bought in 2000) with AGP slots, and his doesn't even have that. Anyways I can't figure out which RAM to get him because when ever I read customer reviews for the RAM I think it is theres mabye 1 good review out of 20.

I've got money on my amazon.com account that I'd like to use so I don't have to worry about it.

His dell book says this:
Architecture - non-ECC SDRAM Modules
Memory connectors - two;gold contacts
Memory copacities - 32, 64, 128, and 256 MB (non-ECC)
Minimum memory - 64 MB (non-ECC)
Max memory - 512 (non-ECC)
Frequency - 100 MHz
Voltage - 3.3v
Data bus width - 64 bits

I was wanting to get a stick of 256mb because his computer is so slow, but I've seen them listed as costing $66, and thats just pathetic for some OLD ass RAM.

PC133 Ram

According to Crucial you'll need PC133 Ram which is pretty old. Older ram is more expensive because it is hard to find.

How much is in it now? That motherboard supports up to 512 MB.

Crucial is asking $67 for 256MB.

I don't think you will get it much cheaper.

Someone else might know if there is newer ram that is backwards compatible.

It is probably gonna be pricey to upgrade that anyway.

EDIT: Found this:
