Default What kind of performance increase can I expect here.

I currently have an AMD 3200 overclocked to 2.4 ghz with 1 gig of 3200 ram and a 7800 gt video card. Now if I changed to a 2.4 ghz conroe and 2 gig of corsair 800 mhz with 4-4-4-12 timings how much of a performance increase could I expect. I would be using the same video card also. Would I get much more performance in games.

Not exactly a night to day difference, but a night to early morning difference... before the sun is out ...Maybe not for multitasking though.. since a Core2duo is dual core.
