Default Which graphics card to choose

I want to upgrade my graphics card but do not know which one to choose...i have a dell dimension 8100, i am looking for one that will be compatible with vista, here is a link to my technical specifications:

you will need an AGP card. what's your budget and we can give you some suggestions for a card. I'm assuming from the link, that your in the UK also?

Even after upgrading, sure you can run Vista, but you won't get the glass effect.

With a (guessing) Pentium 4 2.0, 256MB RAM, and Intel 850 video, you might just be able to squeeze into Vista, but I would defenitely just recommend more RAM right now. 512MB stick will do wonders to your system.

To run vista with all the cool settings and eye candy you'll want 1gb of ram and a dx9 level card. you should still be able to get a 7300gt or similar card in your budget, not exactly sure what stuff costs in Ireland.

Was just looking at ebay and I came across lots of cards like this one for a very reasonable price will it run on my system?

I'm not sure if your power supply will be able to handle that card. It is only 250 watts.

Ive got the xfx Geforce 7300gt, its a great card i highly recommend it.
