I "stumbled upon" (www.stumbleupon.com) www.ibuypower.com and decided to check out their computers.
I config'd one, and it seems pretty cheap, and I'm wondering what you guys think of the system.

What I'm looking for: Medium End PC
  • Raidmax 268 ATX Mid-Tower Case w/350W Power Supply
  • Intel Core 2 Duo Processor E6400 (2x 2.13GHz/2MB L2
    Cache/1066FSB)
  • Asus P5N32-E SLI nForce® 680i SLI Chipset w/7.1 Sound, Gb LAN, S-ATA Raid, USB 2.0, IEEE-1394 Dual PCI-E MB
  • 1024MB [512MB X2] DDR2-800 PC6400 Memory Module Corsair-Value or Major Brand
  • NVIDIA GeForce 7100GS With TurboCache Supporting 256MB w/DVI + TV Out Video
  • 250 GB HARD DRIVE [Serial-ATA-II, 3Gb, 7200 RPM, 8M Cache]
  • 16X Dual Format/Double Layer DVD±R/±RW + CD-R/RW Drive
I have many peripherals and drives and stuff that I am currently using that I will put in this PC.
The total before shipping and tax is $805.
Is this a good value for this system? And is this system a "Medium End" system?

840.00 without shipping and OS...

but it's much better than what you could get there... could even be tweaked down if needed... what's your actual budget?

Well I don't have an actual budget but I'm looking for under $1000, but I don't need a $999 system.

What you suggested is great.
Only other thing I'd need is another HDD since I only have 11 gigs left on the 300 i have right now..

Edit: whoops. Didn't see the HDD you put in there since there wasn't a link :p

Hey, I don't recommend the Antec SP-500 model. I have one, It just died on me after 3-4 months of use. Get another PSU. I'm still looking around to see what I will buy to replace it....

Hope that helps!
