I have finally decided to build a new system:

My current one is 1.8Ghz P4, 512mb Rambus, 64mb Gforce 3

Well i have never built comp before and i wondered if this potential new comp might have some issues:

What do you think about this configuration....Any recommendations ?

How hard is it to set up comp, bios, drivers etc...

Yea, I think you should go with an AMD processor since it looks like you will be doing some serious gaming with that 7800GT.
