My current one is 1.8Ghz P4, 512mb Rambus, 64mb Gforce 3

Well i have never built comp before and i wondered if this potential new comp might have some issues:

3. eVGA 256-P2-N516 Geforce 7800GT 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 VIVO PCI Express x16 Video Cardhttp://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130256
4. Intel Pentium 4 650 Prescott 800MHz FSB 2MB L2 Cache LGA 775 EM64T 3.4Ghz http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819116196
5. ASUS P5LD2 Deluxe Socket T (LGA 775) Intel 945P ATX Intel Motherboard http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131539
6. pqi TURBO 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM Unbuffered DDR2 667 (PC2 5400) Dual Channel Kit http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820141211
7. Creative Sound Blaster Audigy2 ZS SB0350 7.1 Channels 24-bit 192KHz PCI Sound Cardhttp://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16829102178
8. ZALMAN CNPS7700-CU 120mm 2 Ball Cooling Fan & Copper Heatsinkhttp://www.newegg.com/product/Produc...82E16835118115

What do you think about this configuration....Any recommendations ?

How hard is it to set up comp, bios, drivers etc...

Thanks Guys

Yea, I think you should go with an AMD processor since it looks like you will be doing some serious gaming with that 7800GT.

Send a message via AIM to Brtnboarder495

If your an Intel fanboy, at least go with their new 9xx series CPU's.

Otherwise, I agree with the others.
