Default what is this??

i was curious to know what the 2 red letters on my mobo mean. they look like the numbers on a digital clock.. mine says "FF" what is this?

using the fact i looked at that mobo earlier today, that is a status indicator, refer to you motherboards manual, within the answers are held.

it tells you a code. different codes mean different things (for example CPU dead, or video error). I assume FF means "all's okay"
