Don't get a x3 8450 or that Xpower psu. I would go for these parts instead.

AMD Phenom x3 710
Biostar 790gx motherboard
ATI HD 4670
2x1gb of DDR2 800mhz 4-4-4-12 timings
antec EA 380w power supply
Antec 300 case
any sata hard drive and optiocal drive

How much would it cost to build that?

Advent PQD-4003 Quad-Core PC - cheap Desktop PCs - Dixons.co.uk

Is that any good?
And can I use my current monitor and speakers with it?

Could anybody please sort me out, I have no idea what im doing.

If you are looking to do gaming then that build is no good for that. It has an ATI 3100, video card which won't play many games at all.

With your budget you would be better off going dual core. I'm sorry I can't help much because I don't know any good UK websites to buy from.

If you are wanting to play games on this pc, then I would build for sure.
Here in the US you can build a nice gaming pc for between $500-$600,,,,4600 if you need an operating system.

I dont know how much it would cost in the UK.....someone here should be able to help you out with the best places to buy there.

Good luck....you will be glad you built instead of buying prebuilt.
