Default wanting to replace old hp 1340n desktop hard drive

Hi, I have an old hp a340n desktop. it no longer boots up because of the ****** old hard drive. The current hard drive is this: Seagate U Series 9 ST3120025A - hard drive - 120 GB - ATA-100 - Compare prices, reviews, user opinions - Shopper.com and I was wondering if this would be compatible: HP 250GB Hard Drive ( EA788UT ) - Hard Drive - HP Storage If not, then what type of hard drive is compatible?
