Default Wanna make a CPU upgrade

I want to make a cpu upgrade but I don't know where to begin. What decides what kind of CPU I could have? Is it the pin number? The socket type? And is there anyway to find out the specs on my CPU without taking it out? I did a search for it but all I got was sites trying to sell me the same CPU.

http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php

Dowload this Program and it will tell you all about your CPU... Post back your specs when you find out...

It's not much, but keeping your existing parts, you can get core parts to upgrade until you can save for a new system...

mobo

cpu
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103562

This way you keep the ram, gpu, psu, etc...
