Question Wacam pen for writing.

I am mathematician looking for a laptop.

I should be able to input with pen so that I can get rid of paper. HP's Touchsmart laptop seems the cheapest with touch screen. Its around 900$.

Then I saw Wacom's bamboo pen. I want to know how good this is for writing. Their reviews talk about graphics uses but not much about writing input. If its almost as good as writing on Touchsmart's screen, then I will go for Wacom.

I did some research a while ago for a friend who was looking to buy a graphics tablet. I recommended the Wacom Bamboo graphics tablet based on the many positive reviews it received.

I've read a number of reviews reporting that the Wacom Bamboo tablet is good for writing. Many have stated that it's surface is like writing on paper. Check out the following review at notebookreview: Wacom Bamboo Tablet Review
