Video-processor compatibility

Hi,
I would like to build my own machine and was wondering if the processor cares at all what brand of video card it's dealing with. Would an AMD processor like an AMD video card better and vversa?

Nope. As long as you have a power supply big enough to run it, it'll work.

To further elaborate, graphics card compatibility only matters on if you have a PCI-E 16x slot or not, and if you have a good enough graphics card (assuming your case is big enough).
