I am looking into purchasing a new BFG GeForce 6200 OC 256MB. One of the requirements is this, "An AGP 2.0 or higher compliant motherboards. Some motherboards violate the AGP specification and therefore this card may not physically fit in some systems."
How do I check this? I don't want to buy the card in order to find out that the card doesn't fit in my system. My Motherboard is an Intel Brownsville 2 D845GEBV2 (6 PCI, 1 AGP, 2 DIMM, Audio, Video), My CPU is an Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU 1.70GHz, and my current video card is a Geforce 5200 FX Ultra 128MB.
So, will the card fit? If not, what do I need.
Thank you,
JiveTurkey
