The General knows what he is talking about. NVIDIA if your on a mid high budget, and that ATI card if you have the money and if want those extra frames for the future. Youre not feeling any NVIDIA love from me when comparing these two cards if spending a bit more money for those extra frames if money isnt a factor here, he needs power for the future and hes comparing a newer high end ATI card over a new mid high end NVIDIA card. Though i would go for that 7900gt simply because i like to spend my money wisely.

The ATI card is better performance wise for the most part.
