Thanks for the input, I am ordering today.

Which card should I go with, same specs, same price, same brand. Looks like the cooler is the only thing that's different. Or is there something else I'm missing?

Newegg.com - EVGA SuperClocked 02G-P4-2765-KR GeForce GTX 760 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support w/ EVGA ACX Cooler Video Card

Newegg.com - EVGA SuperClocked 02G-P4-2762-KR GeForce GTX 760 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support Video Card

Thanks again guys

Go with the ACX if you want more heat blown back in to the case, go with the reference style if you want all air out the back.

Would there be any reason for wanting heat blown into the case? lol.. that does not sound like something that would be good

No, but a case that has a lot of airflow would simply blow that heat out anyways while keeping your GPU a bit cooler with the beefier HSF setup. I personally prefer reference style coolers to keep case temps as low as possible even when I'm water cooled.

One other thing, seeing as I have a 6850 installed now, what is the first step in removing the old drivers? I'm assuming I need to leave the 6850 in, then uninstall drivers. Then once drivers are uninstalled, pop the 760 in and install newest drivers for that?

Thanks again

Uninstall all AMD software, then use a program like Driver Sweeper to delete anything AMD related. Then put the 760 in and install the latest nvidia drivers (for stability, download the 314 set)

Real quick before I buy,

These cards are slightly faster for the same price, do you think it is worth it? I figure EVGA is maybe a little more reliable brand, I've never bought anything from gigabyte or MSI though.

Newegg.com - GIGABYTE GV-N760OC-2GD GeForce GTX 760 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready Video Card

Newegg.com - GIGABYTE GV-N760OC-2GD REV2.0 GeForce GTX 760 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready Video Card

Newegg.com - MSI Gaming N760 TF 2GD5/OC GeForce GTX 760 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support Video Card
