What card do you have now? And the rest of your system would be nice.

The computer is being shipped to me right now, so I don't have the exact models of every thing but here are the basics. (my aunt's old HP comp)

*intel i7 quad (don't know speed)
*8GB RAM
*500 GB Hard Drive

I will be mainly using this computer for gaming (upgrading this comp for guild wars 2), nothing else in the comp needs upgrading, for some reason it's pretty good except the GFX, it's got some standard HP 512mb in it. Just trying to find a card that is reasonably in my price range that will give me good performance for gaming.

Might want to wait to see exactly what it has first before deciding to purchase a card for it. For instance, make sure it has a slot to even put a card.

I think better can be had. If you can fork the extra cash I would recommend in this order
560
6850
7770
6970

Or if you can get one used or cheap a 5850.
