I want to upgrade to a 8800GT Geforce but I have one problem in mind, My motherbored slot is PCI Express x16 NOT PCI EXPRESS 2.0, The card I want to purchase is a 8800GT geforce PCI express 2.0, Will this card still work and what are the downfalls besides that my card will underclock from 500MB to 250MB?

Umm, your card wont downclock anything...and the majority of us are on x16 board, not 2.0. Its the same size, 2.0 just allows for more bandwidth, but current cards dont exceed the x16 slot bandwidth so its not needed.

Yeah, your full 512MB will be used. It will not be underclocked to 256MB by using a x16 slot that isn't 2.0
