Video Card Question

That's ok...it should fit. One of my computer's AGP slot, has 2 notches too.

The AGP card doesn't fit? OK...what's the Acer Aspire model number? It should be labeled, on either the side panel, or the front.

if i can find that on CPU-Z right under the manufacterer space then its Model : FC51GM i doubt thats the right number because I have a tendancy of luck to make myself look like a moron =P

After some googling, it looks like you that black slot is a PCIe slot. So you won't be able to use that X700.

yeah i figured that, which still after 2 comps, about 1 year, im still down 200$ because i didnt check before buying =\

lol...I should of known. Motherboards with the onboard 6100 graphics chipset, don't use AGP.

yeah i got really bad luck when buying comps, i always get the onboards, because i never check the comps specs and graphic settings before i buy, and since i play games, its screws me over. then again using an Acer for gaming isnt always a bright idea to start with =P
