I am saying that you should. Don't buy it if you don't want to. Do what you feel is right. I'm just saying that the slightly more expensive card is cheaper in the long run and better than buying a new card at full price in the future.

For a little bit more a 650ti is 570 performance bracket. You may not want it now, but you may want more power later. With an i3 you are already on the way to a pretty decent gaming machine.
