Default upgrading tools in a laptop

i have normal speed laptop (cpu1.83, 80 G.B., 512 RAM) i was wondering if it is possible to change the rams into more speedy 1GB and if i can bring a new graphic card, i have been told that it's impossible to change any parts of a laptop

Ram is actually incredibly easy to change.

as for the video card, unfortunately its really expensive, and probably not worth it.

ram and battery is probably the only things worth changing...

your better off buying a new one if your expecting huge improvements.
