Default Upgrading Question

hi,
i am planning on upgrading my computer with a new graphics card, motherboard, and power supply. I need a new motherboard to support the PCi-express graphics card. I was curious as to whether i could just buy a new mobo and exchange it with the old one. would everything work the same as before? and also if anyone has any suggestions as to what mobo i should buy that'd be great. price range on the mobo is from 70-150.

Thanks in advance
Charles T. Monson III

P.S. The mobo would have to be AMD compatible

Mobo - MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813130484
or DFI LANPARTY UT nF4 Ultra-D : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813136152

Both are top notch and overclock good (if you wanted to)

GC -
High end - eVGA 512-P2-N570-AX Geforce 7900GTX 512MB : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130279

Mid range - eVGA 256-P2-N563-AX Geforce 7900GT CO 256MB : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130281

Low end - eVGA 256-P2-N554-AX Geforce 7600GT 256MB : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130017

PSU - Antec TRUEPOWERII TPII-550 ATX12V 550W : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817103931

You gonna get any RAM? Don't go with less than a gig, two is sweeter.
