Default Upgrading Processor

Looking to upgrade my processor. Looking to upgrade to something more suited to play games like an i3 or i5, Any help is appreciated im a noob
I currently have a
CPU:Intel(R) Premium (R) CPU G2020 @ 2.90GHz
(Ivy Bridge 22nm Technology)

GPU:2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GT 610 (PNY)

8gb of RAM
and OS is windows 8.1 64 bit

You would get a more substantial upgrade by getting a new GPU. Your current processor will suffice for most games but your current card is pretty weak and not really meant for gaming at all.

You will gain a larger performance boost in games from buying a faster graphics card. Just make sure that the power that your power supply outputs is sufficient to power said graphics card.
