First off, apologies for cross posting this. The original was not in the proper forum.
My second PC is an Athlon XP 2500 with an aging Gigabyte NF2 mobo (7n400-L I think) and an even more aging GF FX5200 GPU.
Since im a glutton for punishment, and I already have a more modern rig (see sig) I want to upgrade this bad boy to handle more modern games. But as you can see, i'm fairly limited due to my CPU socket. I was thinking of slamming in the fastest sempron proccessor availible to start, then maxing out the ram, but im at a loss as to what GPU I should get.
What are my options? What can I buy that wont be wasted on a 400mhz FSB?
