Hey guys, I just want your comments, my PC is a couple years old and was wondering if it is time to upgrade. Also, I have trouble trying to hook my PC to a 27"HD TV. For example, plugging in the VGA cable to the TV and it only shows up to the windows screen and then stays black after that.
Here is my specs:

Case - Cooler Master Centurion 5
Motherboard - Biostar TForce 550
CPU - AMD Athlon 64 X2 4000+ Brisbane
RAM - G. Skill 3GB NQs
Graphics - EVGA 7900GS
Power supply - Rosewill RP550V2-D-SL 550W
Hard drive - Seagate 320GB 16mb cache
Optical drive - Sony NEC Optiarc DVD Burner

I'm no extreme gamer but I like to keep up to date. If you guys know any good replacements, I really appreciate it.

Thanks

the problem with your tv could probably be unrelated to having a pc a few years old. alas, i wouldnt know how to help you though.

if you were to get a new machine, you could reuse your case, dvd drive, and maybe your hdd and psu which would save you a bit right there
