Another reason to go with the 8GB of RAM rather than the 4GB, Planetside 2 is a massive memory hog. It says 4GB is the minimum, and they recommend 6GB, so if you want to be on the safe side in that area...

I would like somebody to show me proof that it uses more than 2.5GB of RAM.

with memory leaks its easy to use more than that.

Skyrim has some of the worst and I have never went over 2.2GB with about 17GB worth of texture mods.
