Default upgrading my compaq HELP!

OK Ive got a compaq presario 5320US and ALLLL I wanted to do was play video game. But i have THE CRAPPIEST 16mb video card. It also turns out that to upgrade my GPU I have to upgrade my 235W PSU (AND MY PSU IS PROPRIETARY). SOOOO now I have to get a new atx case, socket 478 mobo w/ 400FSB, RAM for the mobo and a decent GPU. Can you guys help me pick the stuff out.. my budget is $200. my processor is Intel Pentium 4 1.6GHz 400FSB willamette. HELP ME!!!

Also I had a question to go along with that.. If I jus switch my optical drives, HDDs, and CPU into new mobo will all my stuff be the same? will I still have all my winlogon skins background and will I have to reinstall windows xp or will it jus pick it off the HD?

You'll have to reinstall windows because it will detect the new motherboard and not boot.
