There's not a whole lot you can do with that PC. Your best bet is to upgrade the memory to at least 512MB, but 1GB would be better (And I think that chipset only supports DDR333 memory, but I'm not sure) and to upgrade the video card if you have an AGP slot.

Right i do wanna upgrade the memory to at least 1 gig but to come out cheap. A 256 mb video card and a processor to that supports my motherboard..

Could someone please provide links to the things if you can. Thanks

Well you're going to need to give us the model of your motherboard or the model of the computer if bought from a PC builder like Dell or HP for us to be able to find a processor.

As for RAM and a video card:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820141429 - RAM

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130059 - Video Card

Upgrades are very limited due to the old technology this PC has, so it'd be best if you saved that $250 for a new PC build.

Wow, that board is extremely old. It supports only 168 pin SDRAM. That is very old technology, and you should rather save that money than to upgrade your machine, but, if you have no other option, then here are your options.

Buy 2 of these sticks of RAM:

Stick with this video card, as it is backwards compatible with 4x technology:

VIA Technologies isn't the model of the motherboard.
