Hi guys
I need a little help here. i have a Dell inspiron 5100 that i bought new 2 years ago. everything is descent still about it, (512 DDR, 2.4 Gh pentium 4, 40 gig drive), except for the video card, which is a 64mb radeon 7500, and won't run directX 8. 0

i would like to upgrade the video card to something that can run directX 9.0 or higher. does anyone have any suggestions on good cards? what should i look for? where should i look? and most importantly, how should i go about installing the new hardware without wrighting off my comp?

thanks allot guys!

Unfortunately for you, it looks like the 64mb card you listed is the best you can get for your laptop. I'd check the Dell Support Forum to be sure, they should be able to give you the info you need. Then check eBay for the parts, thats what I did and I saved a ton of money.
