Default Upgrading for Fallout2+BattleFeild 2

hey all, my current set up isnt terrible, this is what im using

MOBo:Asus P5LD2
Cpu: P4 3.0ghz
Ram: 1gb(2x512) OCZ

k now i want to run Battlefeild 2 very well and im looking for some future games like fallout 3 and also hopin to play some C&C3.

Now my Mobo can take a Core Duo, but the question is is that where a noticable diffrence come from, like what are my best bets for some upgrades.

Should i kick it to 2 gigs of ram and maybe grab my self like a 7600GT or something (both of these together) or should i shell that money out for a new CPU? What will make the big diffrence?

Yup...add another 1gb memory and get a new GPU....something like a x1950 pro or 8600GT if you are on a budget.

A new CPU will make quite a difference but not as much as a better GPU and more memory....put a core 2 duo next on your list though....price cuts are on July 22nd so its better to wait if you want to save some money anyway.
