Upgrading eMachine

Well I've got a friend that wants to upgrade his eMachine T6520 basically to be able to play Command and Conquer at maximum settings his specs are
AMD Anothlon(tm) 64 processor 3400+
ATI Radeon x700pro
1 gig of ram

So what are some possible upgrades he can do or would it be better to start from scratch?

Well first thing he should do is replace the PSU, emachine's have the lowest of the low scummy PSU's, an they tend to use prity bad parts.

I would talk him into a new build, all together, but if he only has the cash for a upgrade download a program called CPUz and find out what type of ram, the mother board and the socket of the processor (I am sure it is a 939 board but i cant rember of the top of my head).

He says the motherboard is a Micro Start model MS-7145, socket 754, and the ram DDR SDRAM 400mhz PC3200 DIMM 184 pin.

I would say going with trying to get him to build a new machine. He can go budget and get something 100 times better than that eMachine.

Well I talked to him and hes decided to start with a new build but when he gets the money for it.
