Default upgrading

my computer is horrible as of now and i want to upgrade it so i can play games mostly. Battlefield 2, Fear, Quake 4, Halfe Life 2, Call Of Duty 2 and the such...

ive picked out a video card, motherboard, processor, and ram. i want some feed back...the prices of these items are very close to the maximum im looking to spend.

Video Card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814121210

I decided to dual 2 6600's instead of getting one 6800 (my original plan) if you think that i should get the 6800 please tell me.

Motherboard:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131524

This Motherboard fits everything i picked out and has enough slots for what i need.

Processor:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103539

Im pretty sure this is the Processor i want, its a good price for what it is

RAM:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820211014

I really feel like i need 2 gigs, but they dont need to overclock too well, so i think that these are ok...

the total is around $750 and i need to keep it close to that, please give suggestions

Get the 6800.....

Could go cheaper on the processor so you can get a better Video card and your spending to much for that RAM, can find better for less, also ASUS aren't that great for AMD try for, MSI or DFI.

Well, just search for them on newegg, its not that Hard.

For Video card I reccomend the eVGA 6800, As for RAM, OCZ, Geil or Mushkin are good and for mobo, ill wait for someone else to chim in there.

i would go with the 6800GS, as it is cheaper and better then the GT once OCed(overclocked) its only 200 dollars btw

i would recommend this mobo instead
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813130491

ram is ok if you arent going to OC your cpu, why 3500+ get the 3200+ and save some money, cause thats just a waste of money, and if you do get the 3200+ get a 7800GT for only 30 dollars more, while you are saving 30 dollars wiht your mobo purchase and processor purchase

3200+ and 7800GT
3500+ and 6800GS
