After 5 years of using my loud, crappy, outdated, and ugly system, it is finally time to upgrade. Not because my dad wanted a new one, but because it finall broke down.
YES!
I'll go right into the problem.
I ONLY HAVE $500 BUDGET!
I know that it is quite possible to build an average system with $500. So I came up with a system that is about $500, not including tax.
(I already have a monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers, and power supply)

This configuration adds up to around $500. Too lazy to do the math.
I am so eager to order these parts RIGHT NOW... but I need to get some professional thoughts first, right? (I'm not kissing up)
I am really worried about the texts in red, basically the processor and the motherboard, probably the 2 most important components that should last more than, say, a videocard.
FYI I believe on Motherboard/Processor->Videocard->RAM->ETC upgrading theory.
Do you guys have any thoughts on my choices for the motherboard and the processor? Intel chips are a bit too expensive for me, I think. AMD should be fine, right?
Please, make a suggestion if you think my choices are bad. I would like both the motherboard and the processor to be around $100. And, don't worry if they are a bit more than $100 or if the total is over $500. Although I would appreciate it if they weren't.
Thank you for reading my long-♥♥♥ thread.
Hopefully, many of you will help me decide what chips to get, so I don't waste money!

(If you have any other suggestions on parts other than texts in red, please tell me!)
-Doh! I forgot about the RAM.
I was tihnking of a Corsair or OCZ or any other decent brand with 2x1gb DDR2 RAM around $50. I mean, i am seeing alot of these for 35~50 dollars in newegg. Any ideas?
