Default Upgrade question

Hi, guys!

I was wondering what parts I could get for $1500. I thought I should get: E6300, Asus p5b, coolermaster 832, a zalman cooler, 19 14x9 monitor, and creative SE sound card. Note: I need everything. Oh, and about about the RAM, I don't know. Maybe Gskill? I would appreciate your guy's opinions about this. This will be my first build so should I get cheaper parts?
Thanks

I would get an E6420 as they are a nice price/performance ratio nowadays. The P5B is ok but the DS3 and P5B-E are better for the money.

The HSF it's up to you and what you want to spend. You can fit an 8800GTS in that build and a nice case.

thanks all of you guys. Do you guys know how long a particular mobo will last. Like the p5b-e or the ds motherboard?

Sorry for the bump, guys but I just saved up some more $$$$. My limit is 2k and I still need everything. Sorry for you guys working so hard for my previous budget. This 2k budget WILL not change. Final build everyone, thanks. And for a resolution of 1680 by 1050, can i still stick with my 8800GTS, or will I have to crank down the resolution to play on max?

An 8800GTS 640mb, can handle 1680x1050 resolution, well for gaming. I suggest you get this monitor though:
Newegg.com - SAMSUNG 226BW Black 22" 2 ms (GTG) DVI Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 1000:1(DC 3000:1) - Retail
It's cheaper, and has better specs.
