upgrade my pc

I want to upgrade my regular Dell Dimension 2350 to a good gaming PC all its part are the same as any other 2350 so its kind of out of date and not fit for a fun PC gaming expierience

Now instead of making an *** out of myself i figured ill just go ahead and say I have now idea what im looking for in new parts so i would like suggestions as to what I would need

i figured I would definatly need a better hard drive and video card and i could use a new DVD drive

if yall can suggest good parts i can get from newegg.com i sure would appreciate it and if i could use some other parts in stead of just the 3 then please tell me

this is important i have a low budget so i would like good parts but good parts that are cheap would be really nice

That would be a cheap $175 upgrade after shipping/taxes and such. But if you're open to around $300-350 you're open to much more possibilities.
