Hi Guys!

I have a COMPAQ Presario SR1365CL and the specs are the following:

1600 MT/s (Mega Transfers/second)
Socket 754
Chipset
SiS 760/964
Motherboard
Manufacturer: Asus
Motherboard Name: K8S-LA
Compaq motherboard name: Salmon-GL6

Memory
Memory Installed 512 MB (1 x 512)
Maximum allowed 2.0 GB (2 X 1 GB) requires the replacement of the installed 512 MB DIMM
Speed supported PC3200 MB/sec
Type 184 pin, DDR SDRAM
DIMM slots Two
Open DIMM slots One

Video graphics
Integrated with up to 64 MB allocated video memory

Expansion slots (total)Slot type Quantity
PCI Three (two available)
AGP One (available)
DIMM Two (one available)

I have upgrades that I am eyeing to buy:

Video Card
EVGA 6200 512Mb

RAM
1Gb DDR PC3200 Kingston

Power Supply
Cooler Master Extreme Power Plus 460W

My Questions are the following:
Are the components compatible for my PC?
Do I need to change the 250W power supply of my pc for the hardwares to work?
Do I need to take out the integrated video graphics first or can they both work at the same time with the AGP graphic card upgrade?
I've read somewhere that the EVGA 6200 needs AGP 2.0, so I'm not sure if Presario is already AGP 2.0.

Thank you

that is an old machine you got there. what is that you want to upgrade for?

honestly, i wouldnt put money into keeping it running, you should just save some more money up to start rebuilding it.
