Default upgrade confusion

i put a 750W powersupply in it with a nvidia geforce gtx 260 maxcore 55 graphics card . i also upgraded the case to a nzxt zero atx full case. Now i came to a problem. took it to the techs they told me somethings wrong with my motherboard and i will need another one, i done know whats compatable with my Cpu. and i need one thats good for gaming. if someone could explain how to determine compatability or give me some motherboard suggestions it would be of great help thanks.

hmm, i cant seem to find one without onboard video....it doesn;t really matter if there is onboard video though, you can just turn it off. Should definitely wait to see if someone else has a a better suggestion, because they probably will. I just couldn't find anything this morning for some reason.

^the motherboard i linked to has onboard video. Meaning you don't necessarily have to use a video card with it. Usually when you know your going to be using a video card you get a motherboard without onboard video. You have video card, so you dont need a motherboard that has onboard video. That is all i was saying.

^That is a full size motherboard

Reason i chose it was because it a good brand, i dont know what boards are decent for ocing or anything like t hat for am2, because i usually dont use amd. Not that im a fan boy, intel just generally has better performing chips. Anyway, that board is a good board, maybe not the best for ocing, but i doubt you are ocing, are you?
