Default Updating BIOS

When you build a new PC, is the first thing you should do - update BIOS?

Do you do this before you load the OS on ? How exactly do you update the BIOS w/o an internet connection? Do you have to d/l the update ahead of time and burn it to a CD and boot from the CD?

first worry about just getting the system running, the BIOS shouldnt be a concern right now. Well what you should do if you want to update the BIOS is get your OS up and running then get the drivers online. The website in witch you are getting these updates should have instruction on how to install them
