I looked at this site Build Your Own PC but it doesn't look like its up to date since its talking about 3.5 floopy disk drives. I was wondering if there is a site that is up to date and more firendly for new builders?

This is an up to date guide on how to build PCs. It's very basic, and has very nice and clear pics to show as well:

Some people still do use floppy drives, to update their BIOS though.
