Will unpluging a computer while it is on do anything to the software or hardware? My video card just went and it's new and lots of people just unplug my computer.
well it's certainly not the reccomended thing to do. it shouldn't have any serious implications other than perhaps corrupting files on your hdd if they were being written/read at the time it was unplugged.
It's obviously not the best thing to do for it, but it won't do too much harm besides mess up some files like nitestick was talking about. Why are you unplugign you're computer anyways. Why don't you just turn it off before you do it lol?
Doubt it will do much i never turn anything off before i switch it off.
Does my light break when i turn it off ...No
Does my Xbox break when i switch it off ... Still perfect after 4 years
Does my 360 break when i turn it off ... Perfect after 8 Months
Does anything break when i switch it off ... NO
I wouldnt worry about it to be honest YES something could happen but i highly highly doubt it. ^ ^ as you can see from my experiences.
