Default Two quick questions.

1) How do I return a product to newegg that is not defective? If it is not what I wanted?

2) I need a Power Supply Unit (preferably with case) that has one IDE power slot, the rest SATA. Is there such a thing?

1. Call Newegg's customer service, which is (800) 390-1119. Or go to their live chat room, to chat with a newegg rep:
Newegg.com - Computer Parts, PC Components, Laptop Computers, Digital Cameras and more!

2. Budget on PSU? It is highly recommended that you get a separate PSU from the case. PSUs included with cases aren't good enough to rely on.

1) Thanks.

2) Reasonable. Alrighty, can you recomend a PSU with the IDE and SATA power connectors, and a good cheap case?

What are the specs of your system?

You should check the Recommended PC Components guide in my sig, under low end.

Um, 2 gigs of RAM, the 8600 gt video card, dual core processor. I need a 450 watt PSU.

So, this may sound dumb, but will most PSUs and motherboards fit in most cases?

Edit: That's pretty expensive once you add the price of the case. Will most be that much that support both IDE and SATA?

And that's pretty expensive for the cases. But does it really matter on the case?

From what I recommended, they should be. And yes, most are compatible.

No. Here's a cheaper PSU, I would suggest though:
Newegg.com - Thermaltake TR2 W0070RUC ATX 430W Power Supply 115/ 230 V - Retail

Thanks, that'll do.

I bought a case and PSU without the SATA connector, needed to get that fixed.
