\i am wanting to watch my charter satellite cable on my pc once i get my new 22 inch monitor now i know i need a tuner card but most of them say 125 channel memory ect.... now if i plug my satellite reviver into the input on the tuner card will i get all 500 or so channels that i have and i would just change channels from my receiver? or how does that work?. and if some one can give me some recommendations on cards since this will most likely be the main tv for my bedroom.

Your satellite receiver will output on one channel (channel 3 or 4 is typical). You switch the channels on your receiver, not on your tuner. This means that you would get every channel that you normally get with satellite.
